Who: Josh Radin (aka one of my favorite people)
Where: Born in Ohio/ lives in NYC
Genre: Alternative/Indie/ Singer Songwriter
Listeners also bought: Bon Iver, Jason Mraz, Brett Dennen
I'm not his only super fan: Ellen DeGeneres loves Josh so much that she asked him to perform at her wedding!
True Story: I first met Josh when he made his TV debut on Last Call. We met again one night a few years later at a dinner arranged by mutual friends that were dating. I asked him for some tips on new artists I should consider booking on the show. He suggested I book a then unknown female singer named Ingrid Michaelson. Lucky for me I took his advice. Our friends have long been broken up, but since then he's become like a brother.
Whisper Rock: He recently released his third record The Rock and the Tide. It's different from his past two records. He added more energy, more rock, more fun -- but still kept the melodies and lyrics that give me goosebumps. Even though it doesn't include a cover of Dirty Diana per my suggestion/constant pleading, I absolutely love it.
He was in LA recently performing for his other BFF Ellen, and while we were hanging backstage he let Ask Him Anything...
